For me, writing is cathartic. It helps me process my emotions, make sense of the senseless and find peace amidst chaos.
Sometimes what I write morphs into a quirky email to my friends. Or a letter to my daughters intended to be opened years from now. Occasionally what I write expands into a speech or an essay for our company newsletter. Most times what I write stays trapped in my computer.
Maybe someday I will try to write a book. However, these days, I have the attention span of a Golden Retriever at a tennis tournament. My thoughts jump from topic to topic, and The Working Title of my dream book bounces away just as quickly.
So, I thought I’d try blogging and see where that leads me.
Having picked a first topic that is fraught with controversy, this hobby may be very short-lived.
